Maoming Municipal Government and the leading enterprise in port area in the south China region (Guangzhou Port Group Co.,Ltd.) have executed Strategic Cooperation Frame Agreement. Both parties would establish a stable long-term strategic partnership, conduct multi-dimensional in-depth cooperation centering on large wharf project and other port projects, and realize advantage complementation and mutual benefit to build Maoming Port into a regional shipping, logistics and comprehensive traffic hub that starts from ASEAN, and serve the inland.
Establish Maoming Port New Bohe Harbor 700,000 ton-class (structural reserve 100,000 ton-class) general wharf project, Maoming Bohe New Harbor structural reserve 100,000 ton-class coal wharf & 250,000 ton-class ore wharf project, and Maoming Bohe New Harbor 300,000 ton-class crude oil wharf project. Recently, Guangzhou Port has determined to build two 700,000 ton-class (100,000 ton-class for hydro-structure) general cargo berths, and 2 loading berths as supporting facilities. Coast length of the main berth is 600, and the coast length for the 2 loading berths are about 300m long, so the total used coast length is 900m and the yard area is 400,000 to 500,000 m2. |
